Al Koken has served in a variety of roles with the broadcast teams for the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, Baltimore Orioles, as well as with CAA basketball.

In addition to his two decades of live game coverage, Koken has served as a print journalist and a sports anchor for Washington, D.C., television stations WUSA-TV, WTTG-TV as well as area radio stations WTOP and WTEM.

He currently serves as co-host of the award-winning "John Thompson Show" on WTEM and as the host of "BallHogs", a popular Redskins talk show. 

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Koken graduated from American University and resides in Maryland.
